No organized rain chances for the next several days

We still do not have any good news in the rainfall department. Hot and dry weather will continue as we finish the month of August and begin the month of September. High temperatures through early next week will reach the upper 80s to lower 90s across the mainland with low to mid-80s at the beaches.

Rainfall Forecast: Next 7 Days

The NBM model shows no rain through early next week. While I think the daytime heating will produce a few isolated to widely scattered afternoon thunderstorms this weekend into early next week, much of South Jersey will remain dry.

The Bottom Line: If you’re lucky, you’ll see a heavy shower, but rain chances for the next seven days will be 20 percent or lower.
