Norcast Weather
“Nor’Easter” Nick Pittman
President & CEO
“Nor’Easter” Nick Pittman is the President, CEO, and founder of NorCast Media Group. His love of weather is deeply rooted in a childhood fear of severe storms. Nick’s fear turned into a fascination and later, a career.
Growing up in Brigantine, Nick got to observe and study all kinds of conditions from blizzards to hurricanes and everything in between. He got his start in front of a camera in Elementary school where he anchored the daily weather report on the morning announcements TV show which carried right through to high school.
At just 17 Nick became the youngest on-air weather forecaster in the nation when he accepted his first professional job for an NBC affiliate based out of Atlantic City. Nick spent a decade in local TV news before starting his own company in 2019.
He now runs a multi-media company complete with broadcast, consulting, production, and marketing divisions. His team has expanded to 4 on-air meteorologists and 8 behind the scenes.
Nick believes in paying it forward. In 2018 he started the “Rainy Day Project” which aims to help families in need. In that time he’s raised over $100k and helped over a thousand families.
In 2019 Nick married his longtime partner Brandon and the two work side by side building the NorCast brand. They reside in Gloucester County with their two fur babies Skye and Zeus.
Britney Trumpy
Weeknight Meteorologist
Britney was born and raised right here in South Jersey! She grew up in Berlin and attended Eastern Regional. She then went to Rutgers New Brunswick where she majored in Meteorology and got 4 years of broadcast experience through the WeatherWatchers program. After graduation, Britney hit the ground running and headed out to Texas! She then jumped around to South Carolina, Rhode Island, and Colorado before settling back east.
Britney loves reading and any excuse to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. She loves her 3 dogs, Gurdy, Sadie, and Fiadh, and her husband, Dylan (in that order) very much. Britney likes to head down the shore and be near the ocean as much as possible both during the summer and in the off season.
Will Rowe
Weekend Meteorologist
Will Rowe is a sophomore at Mississippi State University majoring in Operational Meteorology and a junior at the University of South Carolina majoring in Geographic Information Systems. He is expected to graduate from both institutions by or before May 2026.
Will’s passion for weather began at the age of 3. He began forecasting at the age of 14, when he shadowed the National Weather Service for a day in 2019. A forecaster there introduced him to the basics of weather forecasting, where he created a Facebook page, and started posting forecasts for his local area. Two years later, his enthusiasm earned him an on-air interview at WIS-TV in Columbia, SC. It was during this experience that Will first considered a career in broadcast meteorology.
After his on-air interview, Will took it upon himself to set up his own in-home weather studio in May 2022, where he has been forecasting weather for South Carolina ever since. Over time, he made several connections with broadcast meteorologists across the east coast, including Jamie Arnold, the Chief Meteorologist at WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, SC. Jamie happened to know NorEasterNick personally, and helped Will set up a visit with Nick in August 2022.
Will and Nick stayed in touch since the visit, which ultimately lead to Will joining the NorCast Weather team in March 2024.
