Today
We will continue on with the rainy weather for today, with rain showers across most of SJ that will be off and on all day. The high will be in the mid 80s with light winds, and humid dew points. We could see up to a half inch of rain today or more with a 70% chance of rain! Most of these showers, however, will primarily affect the coast. Besides the rain, it will be mostly cloudy for the day.
Nighttime will continue with storms throughout the night. The majority of it will clear out around 11 pm, but we will still have the chance of some isolated rain showers throughout the night. Lows in the lower 70s tonight with light winds.
Next Few Days
Tomorrow should be our last day of rain! Some spotty showers may be left over from tonight, but should clear by 1 pm until a new group of storms comes through around 5 pm that will be more organized and heavy. These storms could possibly be t-storms! They will stick around for most of the evening, but clear out between 11 pm and 12 am.
Otherwise, mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s again. Light southwest winds as well, and a 60% chance of rain for the day. Nighttime will drop its low to around 66 degrees with light winds.
Friday looks to be the first day out of the weekend that will be absolutely beautiful! Sunny, light winds, and highs in the mid 80s. Saturday and Sunday are expected to be very similar as well!
The Shore
Water temps have dropped slightly to the lower 60s. Wave heights remain the same, between 2 and 3 ft. Lighter winds than normal, around 10 mph or lower. The rip current risk today is moderate!
