Today
Finally, a day that isn’t reaching the 100s!! The excessive heat warning has finally been lifted off our area, and we will return to normal summer temps for now. Mostly cloudy throughout the day with spurts of sunshine in the afternoon. High of 87 degrees, with light winds from the north. Lingering showers possible, especially in the morning.
Nighttime will be partly cloudy with a low of 64 degrees! Whew, haven’t seen that in a while!
Next Few Days
Tomorrow will be beautiful and sunny, with highs in the mid 80s. Nighttime will be similar to tonight, with lows in the mid 60s and little to no winds.
Saturday will also be a wonderful day, with highs in the mid 80s and mostly sunny. Light to no winds also! Saturday night, however, will bring a chance of some showers.
The Shore
A small craft advisory is still in effect today, but not because of wind. Instead, it is the abnormally high wave heights at around 5 ft! However, they should drop back down to 3-4 ft relatively soon and continue for the rest of the day today. We are still under a moderate risk for rip currents.
