Today
After some scattered storms yesterday and a hot summer, we finally are starting to see some cooler fall temps! The cold front from today has moved off the coast, with high pressure now entering the area by Thursday and Friday. This is the reason for our beautiful weather today! A balmy 75 degrees and somewhat windy. Mostly sunny as well, with not too many clouds in the sky.
Tonight will also be clear, and surprisingly cold with a low of 51 degrees! Wow, it is starting to feel like fall. Winds will carry into tonight, between 5 and 10 mph.
Next Few Days
Tomorrow will be very similar to today, and fall in the same pattern of incoming high pressure. A high of 76 degrees, but slightly less windy, and less clouds as well. Nighttime will also be cold, with the same low of 51 degrees. Mostly clear with light winds.
Thursday is when high pressure will really start to show through. Tons of sun, and raising the high to 80 degrees and winds between 5 and 10 mph.

The Shore
Seas are slowly starting to calm down after Ernesto, with wave heights back to average between 2 and 3 ft. Also, the rip current risk has been reduced to moderate today, but still keep an eye out and be careful in the waters! Somewhat windy for the beach, with winds between 10 and 15 mph. Water temps remain in the upper 60s.
Tropical Activity
Hurricane Ernesto has officially been reduced to a post tropical storm as it has made its way well north of the US. Besides that, no activity, but expect to see some soon as we are entering hurricane season!
