After some passing storms yesterday, we will get right back to the high pressure system building within our area today. Sunny, with a high of 86 degrees, and light winds from the southeast. Dry conditions for most of the day, until a cold front reaches us tonight.
Mostly clear tonight with a low of 67 degrees and light winds.
Next Few Days
From the cold front and flow from the south, temps will increase tomorrow along with dew points. Sunny with a high of 96 degrees, and feels like temps up to 104 degrees, the hottest we’ve seen in a bit! The Philadelphia metro area will be under an excessive heat warning, while the surrounding counties will only be under an excessive heat advisory for now.
With the hot temps and humidity, tomorrow during the late afternoon to early evening will have a chance of severe weather. In the small chance of the front moving through earlier, there will be a better chance of more severe weather. There will be a possibility of heavy rainfall, strong winds, and hail. These storms will last into nighttime, but will not be as severe later on. Otherwise, a low of 70 degrees with light winds.
Thursday, the front will move out, and possibly cause more storms throughout the day. Other than that, partly sunny, with a high of 78 degrees and windy.
The Shore
Some fog moves off the coast today, and fair weather for the day. Average winds around 10 mph, and may increase later tonight. A sea breeze is also expected to prevail during the afternoon. Wave heights still low, between 1 and 2 ft, and still a low rip current risk. Water temps remain in the upper 60s.
