Today
Onto day 2 of beautiful and mild summer weather! The high pressure system approaches closer to our area today. Mostly sunny, with a high of 83 degrees and light winds from the west. A sea breeze along the coast is possible, so a lingering shower or two along the coast is possible.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of only 60 degrees! We are really starting to feel those cool fall temps as we slowly approach the fall season. Winds will also be calm tonight.

Next Few Days
Tomorrow will be sunny for the most part, with a high of 86 degrees, and light winds once again. There will be a slight chance of isolated showers and t-storms, around 20%. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low of 62 degrees and light winds.
Thursday will be similar to Wednesday, with sun for most of the day, and a slight chance of showers. Mostly sunny with a high of 87 degrees, and a 20% chance of precipitation for the day.

The Shore
Winds around 10-15 mph, starting off as a land breeze, and changing to a sea breeze for the afternoon. It will change back to a land breeze tonight. Wave heights increase slightly, between 2-3 ft. With that being said, the rip current risk remains low for the day! Water temps have dropped to the mid 60s.
Tropical Activity
Tropical cyclone 5 has been named to tropical storm Ernesto! It is currently in the northern Lesser Antilles, and is expected to go north of the Dominican Republic/Haiti, and go out to sea. However, it is pretty early to tell the exact path, and there’s a chance of the model changing.
Max sustained winds so far have been around 50 mph. The Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are expected to be hit today into tonight.

Enjoy this beautiful summer day!
