Today
Temps staying on the cooler side today once again, with dew points rising into the weekend. A stationary front stalls some clouds and maybe some precipitation over us for the day. Mostly cloudy, with a high of 75 degrees, and winds from the east around 10 mph. Feeling a bit breezy as well, with gusts around 15 mph and higher in some areas. 30% chance of rain throughout the day. Rain expected to start around 4pm, mainly in the southwestern region of NJ and southeastern PA, and spreading throughout the rest of south jersey until early hours of tomorrow morning.
Otherwise, tonight will be mostly cloudy as well with a low of 64 degrees. Winds become calm as the night goes on. A warm front will come through overnight, affecting the weather for the weekend.
Next Few Days
With the warm front coming in, highs return back to the mid 80s, and the day will be mostly sunny. Dew points also increase a good amount, feeling humid for the weekend. Calm winds throughout the day will not help to feel any cooler.
During Saturday night, a cold front enters the area, which may cause some severe weather. The SPC has issued a marginal risk for our area, causing some heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. These storms are expected to come through late, riding along the cold front. Chance of storms and precipitation is 50%. A low of 67 degrees and light winds.
Rain should clear out by Sunday morning, but the chance of storms remains throughout the day, with a 40% chance. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high of 86 degrees and light winds. Still hot and muggy because of high dew points as well.

The Shore
Seas start to get more exciting today, with wave heights more on par with average between 2 and 3 ft. Winds around 15 to 20 mph. This will make the rip current risk MODERATE today. Water temps still warm, in the mid 70s.
Tropical Activity
The Atlantic is really starting to heat up! Our same storm from yesterday has the same chances of 40% of formation within a week, and is currently near the Lesser Antilles and Caribbean Sea. As of now, this is the most likely group of storms to form into something.
The other group of disorganized storms is currently on the coast of Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. This also has a low chance of formation (10% in 48 hours and 20% in a week).
Lastly, there is a small tropical wave in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic with little activity. There is a 0% chance of formation in 48 hours, but a 20% chance of forming in a week.

It’s finally Friday! Enjoy the day.
