Happy Wednesday!
Today
We’re starting off cool and comfortable again, most spots waking up in the fifties. Grab the light jacket or the hoodie for the morning, but don’t get too attached to it… you probably won’t need it long. High pressure’s still running the show, so we stay dry with a mix of sun and clouds through the day. Temps start climbing today, and most of us end up around eighty for the high. Humidity’s creeping back in too, so it won’t feel quite as crisp as Tuesday did. Still, for mid-September? Pretty solid day.
Tonight
Quiet. Not quite as cool as last night though, lows generally in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Looking Ahead
Thursday warms up. Winds swing out of the southwest and push highs into the middle 80s, with a bit more humidity riding along. Most of the day stays dry, but a few showers could try to sneak in late, mainly for folks north of us.
A cold front comes through Thursday night into Friday, so there’s another shot at a few showers before slightly cooler air settles in for Friday.
The weekend’s where it gets a little messier. Late Saturday night into Sunday, moisture returns and another system starts approaching. Right now Sunday’s shaping up to be the wetter of the two, with scattered showers and maybe a few thunderstorms mixed in. Nothing that looks like a big deal at this point, but the unsettled stretch could bleed into early next week, so keep an eye on it.
Rinse and repeat on the sunscreen and the umbrella, just in case.
