TODAY
We started the morning where you’d want to, lower to middle 50s to kick things off. Grab a hoodie, seriously. It’s that first real taste of September and it feels good. Mostly sunny right through the afternoon, highs land in the mid to upper 70s. Lovely from start to finish, not much more to say about it than that.

AT THE BEACH
Winds are shifting in off the ocean today. Good news on the bug front, you’re not getting eaten out there. Rip current risk does creep up a bit though, so keep that in the back of your mind if you’re heading in the water.

OVERNIGHT
Back down into the 50s tonight. Clear, cool, crisp. Can’t ask for much better this time of year.

LOOKING AHEAD
Hump Day brings partly sunny skies and humidity starts creeping back in, so that fresh feeling from today won’t stick around. Highs near 80. Then we build again into the middle 80s by Thursday, with a small shower chance in there. Weekend backs off the heat some, seasonable, and nothing stormy on the radar right now.
