We promised you Sunday would be nicer than Saturday, and we’re delivering on that. Skies brighten up, trending partly sunny for the day.

Now, yes… there IS a chance for some spotty thunderstorms in the afternoon, but most of that energy stays north and west of us. I’m talking Central and North Jersey, plus Northeast Pennsylvania. So… ehhhhh. Not overly enthused about our storm chances here. That said, keep an eye to the sky, because something sneaky could slip into South Jersey with little notice.

We start Sunday in the 60s and climb into the lower to middle 80s by the afternoon. Humid too. Dew points are on the rise into the lower 70s, so that soupy feel is very much back with us.

At the Beach

Missed out on beach time Saturday? I think you’ll make up for lost time Sunday. Low chance of rip currents. Winds out of the west-southwest at five to ten mph, which means there will probably be some bugs before a late day sea breeze kicks in. Low tide is at 10:30 a.m., high tide late in the afternoon.

Overnight

Lower 60s, clear skies overnight into Monday.

Looking Ahead

Lots of sunshine with us Monday through Wednesday. Highs in the lower 80s with lower humidity. Decent stretch ahead as we kick off the new week!
