Happy Monday!
Woke up today with leftover energy from that system that pushed through late yesterday, so a few scattered showers or storms are possible early. Once we get into the morning and afternoon, we dry out for the most part, though I can’t rule out an isolated storm popping up this afternoon. Morning clouds break for some sun, and we end up partly sunny. Highs top out in the upper 80s.
At the Beach
You’re probably fine for the afternoon, just keep an ear open for thunder off in the distance. West winds 5 to 10 mph. There could be some bugs out there today, so bring the spray! High tide’s around lunchtime.
Overnight
Lows drop into the upper 60s. Stars and clouds mixing it up.
Looking Ahead
Tomorrow’s mostly sunny and we’re back near 90, and honestly we stay right there through Wednesday. Thursday’s when the next storm chance rolls in, an airmass change kicks it off. After that we finally see temps ease down a bit, and the humidity comes down right along with them. Comfort level heads back UP by the end of the week and into the weekend. That’s a winning scenario for all of us.
Stay dry out there today!
