we made it to the end of the work week… and it’s a nice one to end on. Temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 80s, partly sunny skies, and humidity actually backing off a bit. Dew points dropping back into the 60s. Not bone dry, not yet, but we’re taking a real step in the right direction.
Clouds will try to billow up this afternoon… yet another piece of energy sliding by to our south and west. That’s been the story all week, and we’ve lucked out because of a boundary parked south of us that’s forcing those storms to ride along it instead of coming our way. Keeps the severe weather out of our backyards. Still, there’s a small chance of a passing shower or storm this afternoon, so don’t be shocked if a few drops sneak through.
At the Beach
Heading down? No issues. Mid 80s on the sand, low tide right around midday. A little breezy at times. Water temps holding in the lower to middle 70s, though that’ll shift some depending which island you’re on.
Overnight
Lows dip into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Stars and clouds mixing it up.
Looking Ahead
Now here’s the part I’m actually looking forward to… TOMORROW. Your Saturday is shaping up to be a peach of a day. Low humidity, tons of sunshine, just genuinely pleasant.
Sunday, though, that’s a different animal. Thunderstorm chances return, and a few could go severe. Worth keeping an eye on as we get closer.
