Happy Hump Day! Hope you soaked up yesterday ’cause the humidity is BACK with a vengeance. We’re diving right back into that swampy, soupy Louisiana feel as dew points climb into the middle 70s. Provolone pits type weather… gross.
Watch out for spotty showers and downpours today. Not nearly as widespread or impactful as Monday’s mess, but there could be some isolated flash flooding, so keep the umbrella handy just in case.
We start the day in the lower 70s and climb into the lower to middle 80s this afternoon… and get this, it’s our LAST day in the 80s before we crank the dial up for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Sun and clouds mix, but it’s gonna feel very uncomfortable out there. Any rain chances fizzle out before sunset.
At the Beach
Highs on the sand around 80. High tide rolls in around 1pm. Moderate chance of rip currents, so stay sharp if you’re heading in the water, and winds out of the southeast. No bug concerns today.
Overnight
Sticky. Stars and clouds mix. Lows in the lower 70s.
Looking Ahead
Thursday is rinse and repeat on the rain chances, just hotter… highs around 90. That’s the status quo through the weekend, so get used to it!
