Happy Saturday! We’re starting things off around 70 degrees, and yeah… it’s gonna feel a little sticky out there today. Dew points are climbing, so factor in that mugginess. Highs top out near 90 on the mainland, mid 80s if you’re down the shore. South to southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph are gonna pump that moisture right in.

We’ve got a frontal system creeping in from the west, and you’ll notice the clouds building through the day. Starts out high and thin, then thickens up here and there as we go.

At the Beach

Water’s sitting in the lower 70s, south winds staying with us. High tide rolls in late morning, around 10am. UV index is high, so safe suntime is only about 15 to 20 minutes… slather up before you head out!

Overnight

We drop back into the lower 70s tonight.

Looking Ahead

Sunday’s basically a repeat performance… nearly identical setup, but keep an eye out for a stray storm late in the day. Things turn unsettled Monday and Tuesday, a few more chances for rain and storms in there. We settle back down by the middle of next week, and then temps start climbing again, pushing toward the lower 90s by late next week.

August heatwave? Might be in the cards. Stay tuned!
