Back to the daily grind we go after what had to be the nicest weekend of the summer… we made a promise and we delivered. Hope you soaked it up!
On the Roads
No big issues heading out the door this morning. There could be a little fog in spots as dew points come up and we don’t have much wind to mix it out… if you run into it, just take your time on the early commute.
Today (Monday)
Sun and clouds mixing for the first part of the day. As we push into the afternoon, some scattered thunderstorms could pop up. Not everyone will see them! Humidity’s on the rise, and plenty of early sunshine will help fire things up too. Same setup tomorrow. Any storm that does form has the potential to bring heavy downpours, flash flooding, and gusty winds. But again, let me reiterate: NOT EVERYONE SEES THEM. Keep an eye to the sky and an ear open for thunder.
At the Beach
Highs top out in the middle 80s on the mainland, around 80 at the beaches. Low tide is around lunchtime, high tide tonight. Low chance of rip currents, winds out of the southwest. Could be a few bugs on the sand. Overall an OK beach day… just listen for thunder as storms pop up to the west.
Overnight
We drop into the lower 70s tonight. Any thunderstorms that managed to form will back off and die out.
Looking Ahead (Tuesday)
Tomorrow starts off very similar to today, but yet again in the afternoon the chance for storms will arise… perhaps a little higher of a chance for something to turn severe as well. We’re unsettled through Wednesday. Late week turns nice, humidity comes down, and we could very well see ANOTHER nice weekend?!?!
