What a gorgeous weekend we’re having! Everything has come together as advertised, and I hope you’re taking FULL advantage of the sunshine and blue skies. Temps are starting out in the 60s, with a light breeze early that’ll pick up a little through the afternoon, especially at the beaches. Humidity remains very low and the comfort level is through the roof. Soak up every ounce you can! Highs this afternoon get into the middle to upper 80s on the mainland, lower 80s at the beaches.
At the Beach
Look for UV indices very high, at a 10… meaning your safe suntime on unprotected skin is about 15 to 20 minutes. Water temps vary by island but into the 70s for the most part. MODERATE rip current risk though, so be aware of that.
Overnight
We dip into the upper 60s to around 70 for an overnight low.
Looking Ahead
Monday turns a little more humid. Most of the day is dry, but there’s a chance for a late day shower or storm. Better chance on Tuesday as a strong frontal system arrives. Heavy downpours and damaging winds return to the forecast after a nice several day break. Just be weather aware… we’ll get more into those details by tomorrow.
