We’re kicking your Friday off on an unsettled note. That cold front that came through yesterday is SLOWLY settling to the south… still close enough that some scattered showers are possible, mainly across the southeastern sections of our viewing area. This is NOT an all-day thing. In fact, I think we’re pretty nice through the afternoon.

Then We Turn the Corner

We clear the skies out. Sunshine returns. Temps climb into the lower 80s and the humidity drops. Dew points plunge into the lower 50s… and the best part? They stay there right through Sunday.

Heading to Barefoot Country Music Fest?

If you’re making your way down to Wildwood, couldn’t script better weather for ya over the next few days. ZERO issues. Temps on the beach will sit right around 80. Couple things to keep in mind though:

  • We’ve got that westerly wind today, so there WILL be bugs on the sand for sure. Bring the bug spray!
  • MODERATE chance of rip currents.
  • High UV index, so don’t skip the sunscreen.
  • High tide right around noon.

Tonight & The Weekend

As we head into the evening, temps drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Very enjoyable. And Saturday and Sunday? The epitome of perfection. Lower 80s with a good amount of sun. Soak it ALL in.

Looking Ahead to Monday

By Monday we’ve got a storm system rolling across the Ohio Valley and then right into our neck of the woods. Could be looking at periods of rain on the way… and honestly? Happy about that. We NEED rain desperately. If we could squeeze out an inch, that’s SOMETHING. We need about 6″ to get us back to normal!
