We’re starting the day out with temps in the 60s. We’ll be toasty yet again this afternoon with highs getting into the upper 80s — but less humidity than yesterday by mid- and late day as the front finally moves far enough off-shore for that drier airmass to kick in. A westerly to northwesterly breeze kicks in, and it turns a bit breezy with winds gusting to 20-25 mph through the afternoon.
Heading to the beach? Bugs are back at the beaches. High UV index at a 10, so safe suntime is around 15-20 minutes. Highs get into the lower 80s, with water around 60 in the surf.
Looking ahead: We drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s overnight — good stuff, a tranquil night. Tomorrow and Tuesday are comfy days with slightly above-average temps. The next heatwave gets crankin’ by the end of the week, and it’ll be hotter than this last one.
