Happy Friday!

We’ve made it to the end of another work and school week. If you’re a fan of HOT, SUMMER weather, you’re gonna be a fan of what we’ve got today. Humidity remains on the lower side, thank goodness, as dew points are in the 50s…could be a lot worse!! But even with that, it’s STILL gonna take a toll on your body. Highs top out between 90 and 95 on the mainland, 80s for the beaches. Westerly jolt in the wind means there will likely be some bugs on the sand before the afternoon seabreeze kicks in.

High pressure is still in-charge. Tons of sunshine, some fair weather cumulus clouds billow up in the afternoon. Lows dip into the 60s tonight. Stars and clouds mix. It’s a calm, pleasant night ahead. We are dry. Bone dry. That *may* change by late day tomorrow. A cold front approaches and gives us the chance of seeing some scattered t-storms. Most of the energy misses us NW, but I’d keep an eye out for a storm or two poppin’ through after 4pm.

Sunday is unsettled. Sticky as dew points rise. A spotty storm can’t be ruled out. Cooler briefly for a couple days heading into early next week before the warmth rebuilds again.
