Happy Saturday!
A soggy stretch is moving in, and it’s going to hang around for a couple of days before we finally catch a break early next week.
Today
This is where things get wet. Showers are likely through the day, with a high only reaching near 52. East winds pick up to 10 to 15 mph, which will make that raw, damp air feel even more noticeable. Precipitation chance is 60%, with a quarter to half an inch of rain possible. It’s a stay-inside kind of day if you can manage it.
Tonight
The rain doesn’t let up overnight. Showers are essentially certain, with a 100% chance and another half to three-quarters of an inch of rain expected. Low around 42, with east winds continuing at 10 to 15 mph. Puddles and ponding are going to be a real thing by Sunday morning.
Sunday
Still unsettled. A chance of showers continues with a 50% probability and another quarter to half inch possible. High only near 52 again, and the wind shifts to the northeast around 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. That’s going to feel noticeably blustery. Sunday night starts to quiet down, with just a slight 20% chance of showers and partly cloudy skies. Low around 41.
Later on
- Monday brings a full reset, with sunny skies and a high near 63 — a welcome change after the soggy weekend.
- Tuesday stays pleasant with mostly sunny skies and a high near 65, though a chance of showers creeps back in after 8 p.m.
- Wednesday and Thursday keep a 30 to 50% chance of showers in the mix, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s.
- Temperatures stay in a fairly consistent range through the end of the week, generally between the low 40s overnight and the mid-60s during the day.
- Friday closes out the extended period with another chance of showers at 50% and a high near 63.
