Good morning!

We’re heading into a really nice stretch to close out the work week before things take a turn for the weekend.

For today, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures climbing nicely into the 70s(mainland) and 60s (shore). It will feel much more comfortable compared to earlier in the week, with a light breeze and overall quiet conditions. It’s a great day to get outside and enjoy it.

Tonight stays calm and seasonable. Temperatures drop back into the 50s under partly cloudy skies with light winds.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, we keep the good thing going. Expect another mild day with highs again reaching into the 70s. There will be a bit more cloud cover around, especially later in the day, as a frontal boundary begins to approach from the west. By Friday night, that boundary starts to move closer, setting the stage for a more unsettled pattern.

As we head into the weekend, that front becomes the main story:

• A chance of rain begins to creep in Saturday afternoon and continues on and off into Saturday night
• Winds turn more onshore off the ocean, bringing in cooler air and holding temperatures in the 50s
• Sunday stays on the cooler side with lots of clouds and a lower chance for rain, but still not completely dry
• Overall, a noticeable shift from the warm and pleasant end of the week

To sum it all up, today and tomorrow bring comfortable temperatures in the 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Then a frontal boundary arrives Friday night, leading to a cooler, cloudier, and more unsettled weekend with periods of rain, especially on Saturday.

Have a great day! – “Nor’Easter” Nick Pittman
