Good morning!

We’re heading into a bit of a pattern shift today, and it’s going to feel noticeably different compared to the recent stretch of warmth.

For today, expect mostly cloudy skies with showers developing and moving through the area on and off. It’s not a steady rain all day, but you’ll likely run into periods of showers at times, especially through the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler, topping out in the mid to upper 50s Winds will be out of the east to northeast around 10 to 15 mph, which will reinforce that cooler feel.

Tonight stays unsettled. Skies remain mostly cloudy with occasional showers continuing into the evening and overnight hours. Temperatures drop into the mid to upper 50s, and the damp conditions linger, so it will feel a bit raw at times.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, the cooler pattern sticks around. Expect a mix of clouds. Highs will be in the mid 50s with a light northeast to east wind keeping things on the cool side.

From a broader perspective, both the Storm Prediction Center and Weather Prediction Center highlight a low-impact setup across New Jersey. There is no significant severe weather risk, but periods of light rain and cloud cover will be the main story.

Looking ahead:

• Cooler than recent days with highs mainly in the 50/
• Periods of clouds and occasional showers over the next few days
• No major storms or heavy rainfall expected
• Gradual improvement toward the end of the week

To sum it up, today turns cooler with clouds and on and off showers through the day. Tonight stays damp, and tomorrow keeps the cooler pattern going with more clouds and a few additional showers around.

Have a great day! – “Nor’Easter” Nick Pittman
