Happy Sunday!!
If you like weather that keeps things interesting, this upcoming stretch is going to deliver. We go from crisp and breezy to borderline summer heat in a hurry.
Today
A quieter, more comfortable day overall. We’ll start with some sunshine, but clouds will gradually increase as the day goes on. Highs land in the low 60s, so a bit cooler than what we’ve had recently. Winds stay light, generally out of the west, and there is no real threat of rain. It’s a calm, uneventful spring day.
Tonight
Cloud cover sticks around and that helps keep temperatures milder. Overnight lows settle into the low 50s. No concerns with frost or freezing conditions.
Monday
This is when the pattern flips. We bring back a mix of sun and clouds, but more importantly, the temperatures surge. Highs jump into the low 80s with a noticeable southwest breeze developing. It will feel very warm for this time of year, and we start getting close to record territory.
Beyond That
The warmth doesn’t stop there:
- Tuesday through Thursday looks even hotter, with highs pushing into the mid to upper 80s
- A mix of sun and clouds continues, with no widespread rain expected
- A stray shower or storm can’t be ruled out later in the week, but overall it stays mostly dry
- By next weekend, temperatures ease back slightly into the 70s
What to Know
We are looking at a dry stretch with increasing warmth, so keep in mind elevated fire risk conditions, especially on breezy days. Also, with the rapid warm-up, it might feel like we skipped a season entirely.
Enjoy the quieter weather tomorrow, because things ramp up fast right after that.
