Happy Friday my friends!
We’ve got a much nicer day on tap across the area today than yesterday…by a LONG SHOT! The clouds vanish this morning after some lingering fog. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies through the course of the afternoon. High pressure builds in. Winds shift out of the south between 15 and 20mph and that will be enough to allow temperatures to spike.
By spike, I’m talking lower to middle 70s on the mainland west of the Parkway. Sorry shore folks…you’re STILL not getting in on the love, just yet. Why? Colder ocean temps allowing for those numbers to be lower from LBI to Cape May. Nothing we can do about that.
Some clouds may try and work in later in the day.
Temperatures will CONTINUE to warm tomorrow. I’m thinking 80s for the mainland, lower to middle 60s for the beach communities. Very pleasant. Partly to mostly sunny skies. Clouds increase later in the day as a cold front advances east.
That front will bring RAIN by Sunday mid to late morning. Your services and brunches should be OK, but don’t forget an umbrella. You’ll be dodging some raindrops through the afternoon for sure. A quarter to half inch of rain possible?
We see temperatures fall yet again by Monday. 50s, seasonable for several days in a row.
