Happy Monday!
It’s mild. One of those rare late December days where temps could push towards 60°. Won’t be for everyone, but a few spots here and there. The bigger story is the explosive cold front that works in from the west. Ahead of the front we squeeze winds out of the south with gusts 20-30mph, picking up through the day. Behind the front, gusts to 40mph out of the NW. The cold air will pour in from Canada. Highs will be in the 30s for the foreseeable future.
Don’t leave the house without an umbrella, you’ll need the wet weather gear until early afternoon as scattered rain moves through. A couple downpours possible.
Looking ahead, little piece of energy could pivot through on New Years Day giving us the chance of some snow showers with light accumulations. We will monitor.
