Happy Thursday!
We’ve got a really nice day on tap. Temps are starting in the lower 40s for many…we end up in the lower 60s this afternoon. Breezy, but not as windy as yesterday. Look for tons of sunshine with some PM clouds creeping into the skies overhead by mid-day. We are bone dry both in terms of precip and humidity. Status quo right through the weekend.
Things are gonna be interesting with Melissa. I think it has a really high-end potential…perhaps strong Cat 4/weak Cat 5? Jamaice, the DR and eastern Bahamas need to be on high alert.
At the moment, most guidance has this storm passing to the EAST of us…but climatology gives me pause as there IS a scenario where it comes back closer to the coast with high-latitude blocking to the north of us. Stay tuned as we will be frequently updating the forecast.
