Happy Sunday! We’ve got a winter storm heading into the region today but the impacts will vary GREATLY by location. Heading to the Game? You’ll encounter 3-6″ of snow with messy travel leaving. Through interior South Jersey we are looking at 1-3″ of snow and towards the shore, a coating to an inch. All depends on where that rain/snow line sets up. We usually see the heaviest snow about 15-20 miles west of that line.
Rain/Wintry mix breaks out later this morning, then everyone flips to snow at some point this afternoon. The big story will be the COLD temps. Major concern for freezing and ice after the storm departs. This will be a heavy, wet snow. Lots of moisture in each snowflake so that compounds the ice issue. Snow won’t melt until the end of the week too given the arctic temps.
Real feel temps in the -10s by Tuesday morning. Brrrr
