Happy Thursday! We picked up a healthy dose of rain yesterday with the majority of the region picking up 1 to 2″. Good stuff! Every ounce will go to helping the drought. We, luckily, did NOT see the downpours tap into the lower level jet energy. These setups are ALWAYS tricky…I was not bullish on the idea from the get go but the potential was there. Good to avoid!

Today we’ve got tons of INEFFECTIVE sunshine on the way. Highs top out in the 30s, it will FEEL like we are in the 20s. Winds will gust to 30mph at times. Similar weather tomorrow. We moderate a bit this weekend. Next chance of scattered showers arrives Sunday.
