The upcoming holiday weekend will be warmer.

Saturday will see a mix of sun and clouds, with highs near, or around, 80 at the beach and in the low and middle 80s inland.

It looks like any shower or thundershower threat will hold off until later Saturday night.

Sunday looks like a changeable day, with varying amounts of clouds, some mid and late-day sun, and there IS a chance for a shower or thunderstorm (particularly through the afternoon). It does not look to be a washout, however. Highs on Sunday will be in the 80s in most areas.

After that, a large dome of drier, less humid air will begin to build in from the Great Lakes and Canada.

Labor Day still looks a tad warm, but turning less humid, with a good deal of sunshine, and highs around 80 or in the lower 80s.

A lovely stretch of mostly sunny, pleasant weather looks to continue from Tuesday thru Thursday of next week.
