A leftover shower or strong thunderstorm is possible very early Thursday morning. Otherwise, Thursday afternoon will NOT be as hot, with varying amounts of clouds and sun, and a slight chance for a pop-up thundershower late in the afternoon. High temps Thursday will be in the mid and upper 70s (to near 80 away from the shore).
Friday will be a variably cloudy day, with the chance for a couple of showers or a thundershower. While it will NOT be a washout, you will need to keep the umbrella handy during the day, just in case. Highs Friday will be in the 70s.
Saturday will be a warmer day, with partly sunny skies. However, an approaching cool front will trigger off some developing showers and strong thunderstorms from west to east late Saturday afternoon and particularly Saturday evening. High temps will be in the upper 70s to near 80 at the beach and in the low and middle 80s inland.
Sunday looks like a changeable day, with varying amounts of clouds and some sun, and the chance for a couple of leftover showers, particularly through the first of the day. Highs Sunday will be in the 80s in most areas.
Labor Day looks a bit cooler and less humid, with a pleasant mix of sun and a few clouds, and highs in the upper 70s.
Sunny weather looks to continue next Tuesday.
