A good deal of sunshine is expected for Wednesday and hot (especially inland), with high temps in the 90s. When you factor in the humidity, it will “feel” like its around 100 degrees. At the beach, temps will generally be in the upper, or mid-upper, 80s. Also, the air quality will not be good, so make sure you don’t exert, stay in the air conditioning (if you do not have to be outside) and drink cool water when you can.

A shower or a strong thunderstorm is quite possible Wednesday evening (accompanied by a downpour or two, lightning and strong gusty winds). Any storms will end before Thursday morning.

Thursday will NOT be as warm, with varying amounts of clouds, some sun, and the chance for a pop-up shower or thundershower, especially later in the afternoon. High temps Thursday will be in the upper 70s (to near 80 away from the shore).

There is a chance for a couple of showers and/or a thundershower Thursday night.

Friday looks ok, with a mix of sun and clouds, and just a slight chance for a pop-up shower (particularly inland, west of the parkway).

An approaching cool front will trigger off more numerous showers and some strong thunderstorms from west to east late Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening, with high temps near 80 at the shore and in the low-mid 80s well inland.

Right now, next Sunday looks to be the better of the two weekend days, with a mix of clouds and sun, and highs in the low and middle 80s.
