Happy Friday! The weekend is finally upon us. Actually, I kinda wish we could go BACK in time…it’s been a gorgeous week. Nicest week of the Summer, actually. Today is a continuation of the same pattern we’ve had locked in but heading into the weekend, some things change up.

We are looking at some more clouds working in from the west AND the chance of some scattered showers and storms. Is it a perfect weekend? Nope. Not gonna happen – but is it a washout? Also, no. I think later Saturday we’ve got a chance of organized storms then again spotty downpours on Sunday.

It will be a weekend where you need to stay in tune to the forecast for timing and location of rain…but not a weekend where you have to make drastic changes to your plans.

As Ernesto skirts 500+ miles off shore, there’s NO direct impact to our area but waves will be rough. Breakers on Sunday could get to 8-10′, rip current risk will be HIGH. Some minor tidal flooding issues possible Sunday.

As we head into early next week those water issues subside…sunshine returns…humidity drops again!
