Happy Tuesday! We’ve got a window where skies will be partly sunny during the first part of the day. Soak up any sun you see because clouds likely roll back in for the afternoon. Clouds win out more often than not this week but we see clearing towards the weekend.

Highs today will only be in the lower 40s. Right where we should be. ENE winds 10-15mph, less wind than yesterday but enough to build those tides up a bit. Another round of minor tidal flooding through about 1pm.

A system passes to our south tomorrow. Outside of a passing rain shower (isolated) we are dry this week. Weekend looks good, then we’ve got questions about next week. Nothing showing up on weather apps at the moment because models have the storm signal going to our south BUT I think there’s time for correction. We will see.

If that storm doesn’t materialize for the Mid-Atlantic, then we will see the groundwork laid for what’s coming our way for the rest of the month. The cattle prod, if you will.
