Happppppy Tooooosday! It won’t be the best day since we are looking at clouds returning to the area, but it certainly won’t be the worst, either. Temps will moderate into the lower and middle 40s region-wide. Winds relax. It won’t be the biting cold we’ve been seeing. From today onward we’ve got temps that will continue to warm. 50s by Thursday, 60s for Friday?

The warmth comes with a hefty price tag though. Our pattern becomes unsettled. Several waves of low pressure work through by late week which gives us multiple chances of rain. I’m thinking 1″ in total spread across a few days?

Sunday into Monday needs to be watched. EURO has rain, GFS has rain to snow for Monday. We are 5 days out. You know my rule. I’ll keep an eye on it. I think OVERALL the next 2 weeks will feature plenty of days above normal but I’m circling the second week of February for cold and snow chances to return. Winter ain’t over – not by a long shot.
