Happy Hump Day my friend! We’ve got another nice day ahead for us all…a touch warmer than yesterday. Highs in the middle 40s. Sun and high clouds mix.
A quick moving system passes us by to the SE tomorrow. Outside of a snow or rain shower, we will be mainly dry, no big impact from that.
All eyes are still on the Sat/Sun timeframe. Storm comes up from the south, what kinda precip are we looking at? Mostly rain the closer to the coast you go, but I am liking the idea, as mentioned previously, that this storm ends up farther EAST than modeled. This would bring the potential for at least SOME snow farther southeat.
A weaker wave tracking to the south is what we want to see. It takes strong winds and big flooding concerns off the table. I think if things come together the way I imagine, a widespread 2-4″ of snow could be seen, maybe not all the way to the islands, but could come close.
The kiss of death for snow is if the storm does indeed track farther west. Time will tell. Stay tuned!
