Low pressure over the Midwest will move east into the area by Thursday night. This will bring showers by the evening.

This system will be slow to move through the region with the main low off the East Coast on Saturday and a residual trough across the area through at least Sunday. This will lead to widespread light rain through Friday and the weekend. Since rain will be light, it won’t amount to much but will keep the area grey and wet.

High pressure returns early next week and will bring moderating temperatures.
