A strong storm will move out of the Great Plains today and through the Ohio Valley this weekend. As a result, we can expect after a dry day today, rain will move in late tonight and continue through Saturday. Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely Saturday with a thunderstorm also possible.

As an upper level trough moves across the region along with some wrap around moisture, showers are likely Sunday and Monday with a few showers even possible on Tuesday. Dry weather will then return on Wednesday and Thursday. Another system may reach the area around Friday of next week.

Highs will be in the 50’s this weekend and most of next week. Lows will be in the 40’s.
