A large low-pressure system over southeastern Canada will gradually shift northwestward across Ontario Monday before stalling out over northern Ontario Tuesday.

This low will lead to northwest flow over the lake and a trough will lead to numerous lake effect showers. Some spots in the lake effect belts could pick up an inch or two of rain.

This low will then drift eastward mid to late week ahead of another low approaching from the Midwest.

Dry weather is expected Tuesday during the day with shower chances returning by Thursday as the next low impacts the area.

Expect numerous off and on showers Thursday through the weekend with cool temperatures.
