Happy Friday! Today will not be a nice day. It’s going to be feast or famine when it comes to rain. We’ve got what’s called a Norlun Trof…basically a piece of energy that extends northwest from an area of low pressure. They are very tricky to nail down because the precipitation produced (rain or snow) can be VERY intense but also VERY localized. I think a general 1-2″ along the shore, 1/2″ to 1″ on the mainland today.
There’s going to be a bullseye. No doubt about that. It may be along the coast in Central and North Jersey into New York metro area where 3-5″ is possible leading to flash flooding, so be mindful of that if you have plans to go up there.
Cloudy and dull otherwise, temps in the middle 60s. Clouds linger tomorrow perhaps a passing shower in the morning. Afternoon looks dry. Sunday still the pick day with sunshine coming back in full force. Lots of upper 70s/around 80 next week!
