An upper-level low will slowly move across the region through Friday morning. This will bring numerous light showers to the area Thursday. A rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out. Showers should begin moving out Thursday evening. A few stray raindrops can’t be ruled out through Friday morning.

A ridge builds over the region through the weekend and into early next week. This will bring mostly clear skies and very mild temperatures for late September and early October.
