Ridging impacts the region through Saturday as the parent high pressure center moves from the Upper Midwest toward the central Appalachians. This will lead to thinning clouds and cool temperatures.

A cold front should drift eastward across the region Saturday night through Monday morning. This will bring a chance of a few showers to the area.

Behind the cold front, a trough should linger over the region for the rest of Monday. Keeping some clouds and spotty showers around.

High pressure builds back in by Tuesday and Wednesday next week. This will dry out the area and bring sunshine back to the area.
