The start of our new week will see a mix of clouds and sun for Monday with the chance for a mid or late-day shower or t-shower with highs generally in the lower 80s.   Winds will be NW to S around 6 mph.

Monday night will be partly to variably cloudy with a slight chance for a shower, and lows in the upper 60s.

Tuesday doesn’t look too bad, with a mix of sun and clouds.   It will be warm and humid, with highs in the low and middle 80s.

An approaching cold front will trigger of more showers and storms later Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, we’ll be keeping an eye on Hurricane Lee (currently located well to our SE out in the Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Puerto Rico).     It’s expected to continue heading slowly NW before turning northward (well east of the US East Coast) on Wednesday.    There will be an increasing threat for building waves, sea swells and dangerous rip currents at the shore later this week.
