High pressure will build into the lower Great lakes Sunday night and Monday. This will dry out the area and lead to some breaks in the clouds Monday afternoon.

Low pressure will cross the central Great Lakes Monday night dragging a cold front across the region Tuesday. This will bring showers Tuesday morning with some thunderstorms possible in the late afternoon and evening hours.

A trough will linger over the region Wednesday keeping light rain showers around the area along with chilly temperatures.

High pressure will build back in by late week and into the weekend.
