A very pleasant day is in store for the area today. An approaching cold front could result in a showers late Thursday afternoon, but as the front comes through showers will increase Thursday night with a few thunderstorms also possible.
A ridge of high pressure building into the area will mean dry weather on Friday through the weekend and into early next week.
High temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees Thursday but then drop into the 70’s behind the cold front before rebounding into the 80’s late in the weekend into early next week. Low temperatures will dip into the middle 50’s Friday night before climbing back into the 60’s.
