Happy Monday! Hope you had an amazing weekend. We don’t have a lot going on today…but it could change in a bigger way by tonight. There’s an area of low pressure that will work through after 6pm increasing the chance of storms that could be on the strong to severe side.

Damaging wind looks to be the big concern, isolated tornadoes can’t be ruled out. There is a HISTORY of added spin to the atmosphere this summer so I am keeping that tornado threat on the table for sure. We’ve seen 13 tornadoes in NJ this summer, most of them have occurred when the chances were 2%. That’s where we are for tonight into tomorrow morning. Stay weather aware!

Highs top out in the middle to upper 80s today. Dew points in the middle 60s. Water temp around 70.

Tuesday morning sees some storms possible, we are dry for the afternoon and then another round of storms is possible for the evening. Airshow practice on Tuesday SHOULD be good. Airshow Wednesday is fine. Rest of the week looks decent.
