High pressure stretching from New England to the Mid Atlantic has moved offshore as low pressure moves across Quebec Today.
This low will drag a cold front across the region late Thursday night and Friday morning. Only a very slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm exists Friday with most everyone across northeast Ohio remaining dry.
Behind the front high pressure high pressure will build by Saturday.
This high will be brief as another low pressure moves across the southern Great Lakes. A round of showers and thunderstorms looks possible Sunday evening through Monday with some differences on timing among the models. Strong storms also look possible.
The upper-level trough may take its time moving out of the area which could lead to a stray shower or thunderstorm developing Tuesday.
