Today will feel pleasant…but we’ve got a little bit of an issue above our heads as air quality levels will drop a bit. It won’t be as bad as it has been out in Chicago but I’m expecting some of that haze to make its way into our neck of the woods…the sky may appear white or grey at times – not because of cloud cover but because of smoke. If you have respiratory issues, limit time outside.

Temps will get up to around 80. Dew points around 60. Comfortable. Decent beach day too. Water temps will come down a little due to off-shore breeze. Upwelling. We are rain-free so that’s good news! Looks like our pattern turns a bit more unsettled for the weekend – no washout, but chance of scattered showers and storms, just as we’ve been seeing.
