I want you to be weather aware today…that’s all! No need to panic or anything like that – but please pay attention to the forecast and any changes through the day. We are looking at the CHANCE of strong thunderstorms later in the day, after 4pm. The NWS has placed our region under an “Enhanced Risk” of severe weather but I’m not sure I fully buy into it.
Just like the past few days, the chance for EXTREMELY heavy rain is on the table. I don’t see a change from that for today. There could be a few gusty storms that roll through but I believe the worst of the weather will likely be to the WEST…over SEPA. Time will tell. Doesn’t hurt to prepare and hope for the best though.
Any storm that DOES form into our neck of the woods will have the potential to bring gusts over 55mph, hail and even an isolated tornado. We keep things unsettled tomorrow and Wednesday and FINALLY see improvements later in the week.
