Things will be a *little* better today…some sun poking through the clouds! You’ll notice it turn VERY humid. Today and through the weekend the air will feel like split pea soup. This, in turn, will help stoke the flames for the development of scattered showers and storms this afternoon.

Most will remain dry, but there could be some isolated areas that see 1, 2, 3″+ of rain in a very short timeframe. This concern will be with us through early next week.

Highs today top out around 80. We build slowly through Monday before getting knocked down below normal again on Tuesday.

Don’t cancel weekend plans. I expect storms to be rather spotty. Rip Current risk is moderate, water temp in the middle 60s. No flooding concerns.
